This video is dedicated to every man, woman and child who lost their lives in the First World War. This war has also been called the "Great War" and the War to End All Wars. War is neither great, nor did it end war. It changed the way wars are fought. It added new technologies such as the airplane and the tank. It unleashed horrible atrocities such as gas and chemical warfare. Whether French, German, British, Turkish, or American(I am not intentionally leaving out any nationality or creed), all saw the horrors of war. It is said that JRR Tolkien used his memories of the war for battle scenes that he wrote in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The war showed just how brutal we really are, and how cruel we are to our own species. That is why this video is dedicated to anyone who lost their life in this terrible conflict. Almost a century ago, many brave men faced each other in a conflict that is being forgotten more and more everyday. Granted due to the fighting of World War II, it may seem easy to forget them, but I still salute those who were brave enough to charge across No Man's Land and face certain death. I know I couldn't do it.

MSSubbulakhsmi was born to Shanmukhavadivu (Veena Vidwan) and Subramaniya Iyer on 16 Sep,1916 in a musical family, in the temple town of Madurai situated in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. MS started learning Carnatic music from a very early age and released her first recording at the age of 10. She then began her Carnatic classical music training under Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer and then Hindustani classical training under Pandit Narayan Rao Vyas. Her first public performance was during the Mahamaham festival at Kumbakonam. Then, she performed countless musical forms in different languages such as Hindi, Bengali , Gujarati , Marathi, Tamil , Malayalam, Telugu , Sanskrit and Kannada. Subbulakshmi had participated in music concerts all over the world,but her participation in the concerts at New York in 1970,London in 1982 and Moscow in 1987 had a special significance in her life.17 January,2001 was a very important day in karnatak classical music when MSSubbulakshmi was given a national award by Ramaseva Mandal in bangaluru.She was the first woman who recived this prestigious award. The documentary focuses on General St John Maxwell - soldier, Scots Presbyterian and staunch supporter of the Empire - who was appointed military governor of Ireland in the immediate aftermath of the 1916 Rising. It is suggested that Maxwell made a number of crucial errors of judgement and procedure that ultimately shaped Irish history. The documentary is structured around eyewitness testimonies, extracts from private papers, and official government records - particularly statements contained in the Irish Bureau of Military History released to researchers in March 2003. A key player in the court martial was William E. Wylie, the man who was appointed Crown Prosecutor during the trials. Did Countess Markievicz really break down during her trial? and why did Willie Pearse, alone among those executed, plead guilty to charges of treason?
