Boisko Bezdomnych (The Offsiders) is a feel good movie about overcoming obstacles. The heroes of this story are a little unusual as they are homeless soccer players. Their coach, as we find out in the beginning of the movie, was on the national team at the age of 17 and appeared to have a promising career in soccer. We slowly learn a little bit about what became of Jacek Mróz (Marcin Dorocinski) and how his life fell apart.Jacek has a drinking problem and ends up homeless in Warsaw. He makes friends with other homeless guys, many of them who also have problems with alcohol. They eventually decide to play soccer for homeless world cup. Although this is a fictional story, homeless soccer does exist. But turning a ragtag group of homeless guys into champions is not going to be easy. The story is just as much about all of the team members as it is about their coach. Their stories, and the bits and pieces we learn about them, are just as interesting as that of their leader. * Ksiądz, Kosmonauta, Minister, Wariat, Górnik, Rolnik i facet z wyrokiem...
