A chance to revisit the atmospheric island setting of the last great PC-exclusive classic, Crysis, with maximum visual settings and Delta difficulty level. Released in November 2007, Crysis still sets the standard for other PC games in terms of graphics and gameplay. Almost every type of advanced visual and physics effect is available in the game. Similarly, the enemy AI, the weapons, the interactivity with the game world, and the nanosuit itself, along with a whole range of small touches mean that no two playthroughs are ever the same. Only now in 2010 do most people have the hardware to truly appreciate this game with decent visuals, and indeed only with the latest generation cards can we run the game at maximum settings smoothly, with even a bit of antialiasing thrown in to boot while keeping very playable framerates. Retail version of Crysis is used with 1.2.1 Patch, Delta difficulty level, running in DX10 at 1920x1200, all settings to maximum (Very High), and 4x Antialiasing applied within the game. No mods have been added to the game. The only additional tweaks used in my System.cfg file are: con_restricted=0 r_texturesstreaming=0 r_TexMaxAnisotropy=16 Along with +r_width 1920 +r_height 1200 +r_fullscreen 1 in the launch icon's command line to force 1920x1200 fullscreen resolution upon launch. Cruising the world of Mafia 2 PC using the Free Ride mod. This is the retail version of Mafia 2 PC with no DLCs. Running at maximum possible settings, including PhysX at High, Ambient Occlusion On, 16x Anisotropic Filtering and proper Antialiasing forced via the Nvidia Control Panel (8xAA + 2xSupersample Transparency AA). I discovered this correction some days ago and now I decided to share for those who don't know about it ! I believe that this correction make a poor PC become a Xtreme PC in GTAIV, off course u must have free ram memory to do that once it uses the ram memory to increase the FPS. I did it hundreads of times and it works great in all of it, u must know that even u made this correction correctly it's important to be carefull, I have a temp meter here and what i could realize was that the VGA temp grew up from 58°C to 65°C and the mem temp grew up from 50°C to 58°C, i don't know if those numbers can be dangerous, all i know is that my rig didn't died and I ran it at the max settings of GTAIV - High, VH, VH, VH, HIGHEST, 100, 100, 100, 16, ON, ON!!!! but i only ran a few seconds because i was worry with the temp. What I can run easily at GTAIV - Medium, VH, VH, VH, HIGHEST, 100, 100, 100, 16, ON, ON!!! To sum up...u should try this correction and see if u liked, if u do, comment here! Here is what Battlefield 3 Beta looks like maxed out. Playing at 1080p on my GTX 570 and i7-2600K 4.5GHz I get about 45fps and 30fps while recording. I prefer to play at 60 fps so I play on medium/high, which gives me about 75fps and 60fps while recording.
