Andy Coulson 'Condoned Police Payoffs' for Stories - NOTW Phone Hacking *HOT*

News international has uncovered e-mails that indicate payments were made to the police by the News of the World, during the editorship from 2003 to 2007 of Andy Coulson. Click the link below to SUBSCRIBE to the 'News of the World Phone Hacking' YouTube channel @ www.youtube.com For upto date news on the hacking scandal, follow me on Twitter @ twitter.com The e-mails, which appear to show that Mr Coulson authorised the payments, have been passed to the police. The disclosure is a significant development in the extraordinary story of how the News of the World and other newspapers obtained stories in the frenzied climate of a few years ago. It has an important political dimension, in that Mr Coulson went on to work for David Cameron as director of communications at 10 Downing Street. Mr Coulson resigned from that post in January. It also shows that the police investigation into alleged illicit techniques used by the News of the World to obtain stories goes much wider than an examination of the hacking of mobile phones. News International statenment: "As a result of enquiries it is correct to state that new information has recently been provided to the police. As News International and News Group Newspapers has reiterated many times, full and continuing cooperation has been provided to the police since the current investigation started in January 2011. Well understood arrangements are in place to ensure that any material of importance to which they are entitled is provided ...

Game Theory and Prisoner's Dilemma: Determining Payoffs from Decision Making І The Great Courses

www.thegreatcourses.com If you're old enough to remember watching TV before 1971, you probably remember cigarette commercials on TV: "Me and my Winstons"; "Come all the way up to Kool"; "I'd rather fight than switch" (that's for Tareyton); "You've come a long way, baby" (Virginia Slims, the "women's cigarette"); and of course, Chesterfield's 101s, "A silly millimeter longer." I watched way too much TV. The commercials disappeared as a result of negotiations between the federal government and the four major tobacco companies: American Brands, Liggett & Myers, Philip Morris, and Reynolds. In 1964, the surgeon general's report linking smoking to lung cancer came out. So an argument could be made for a desire on the part of the tobacco companies to protect people from cancer. I'm afraid I'm a bit cynical about this, especially in light of how hard those companies worked to prevent [publicizing] the links [among] cancer, smoking, and addiction in the years before 1964. But then, why would the cigarette companies agree to a ban on advertising? The answer is that it got them out of a prisoner's dilemma. Before the ban, the decision of whether to advertise or not was really a fourplayer game among the four tobacco companies, but we won't miss any of the salient points if we boil it down to just two companies, say Eagle Tobacco and Dan'l Boone, to keep me out of legal trouble. Why advertise? Yes, it does persuade some nonsmokers to take up the habit, but the biggest payoff is ...

Payoffs for Senate's Health Care Bill

Politics went into high gear this week when 60 necessary votes for the US Senate's health care bill were secured after granting special concessions and payoffs to certain states. Some senators defended these tactics, saying that "payoffs are nothing unusual"; and that this is "the nature of a democracy" and "part of the normal legislative process." But what exactly were these payoffs, and how does God look at this kind of political maneuvering?

Intro Game Theory (2007) Lect 5 of 23

In this lecture I discuss how to interpret, and how not to interpret, payoff numbers. The discussion uses the simple 2x2 game tree we constructed to analyze sequential games, but it applies equally well to payoffs in simultaneous games. Then we begin to change the games we look at, starting with changing the order of moves in a 2x2 game. A simpler type of game tree can be used to analyze games with your future self - especially whether or not to take mind and mood altering substances, from nicotine through to LSD and cocaine. Note, the Audio got corrupted (due to radio wave interference in a neighboring lecture theatre). It's 90% OK after editing but annoying in places.Original mp4's of this video and other resources related to the lectures from my introductory game theory course at the University of Canterbury , Econ 223, can be obtained at uctv.canterbury.ac.nz Full set of lectures in pm4 format can You'll also find the 2008 lectures - better in some respect - but only 16 out of 22 are edited:

White Hat Report - Part 1

tdarkcabal.blogspot.com November 8, 2010 Mr. Falcone reports that in early September, former President, George Bush Sr. orchestrated a government plane equipped with six (6) of his key people to go to Germany, the Caribbean, Spain and on to Hong Kong. They traveled from Hong Kong back to the US approximately October 26th. During this government paid and sponsored trip, they modified and changed records and bank books of George Bush Sr. in Germany and the Caribbean for his payoffs he's received by utilizing Falcone's money over the years. These allegations have been reported to the FBI and other agencies by Mr. Falcone over two years ago and to this date, there's been no action taken. Over a year and half ago, Joe Biden began looking into helping Mr. Falcone in getting his settlement funds released. Then, he was approached by Hilary Clinton to discontinue his support and to help block the release of Mr. Falcone's settlement funds. Vice President, Joe Biden agreed in lieu of a large payoff of over 200 million dollars he's received over the last year and a half. Subsequently, Joe Biden became aware that Mr. Falcone had become knowledgeable of his payments held in a German bank. Therefore, under the direction of George Bush Sr., the traveling team modified the records of Joe Biden's German account. They sent out approximately 200 million dollars out of the German bank to a bank in Spain and Hong Kong. At this time, all particulars including account information will be shared ...

Pet Food Horror - What's in the food? It's Soylent Green for Pets - Ingredients are dead pets

WARNING: This is utterly shocking information. Many may prefer not to see this but what you don't know will kill your pets. On the FDA site they claim they came up with a test to find out if dog or cat DNA is in only a few brands none of which were mentioned. FDA claims there were no Dog & Cat DNA in the brands tested yet FDA does admit there are levels of phenobarbital in the pet foods. FDA's explanation is that euthanized rendered horses are likely. www.fda.gov This site explains what happens to horses equineprotectionnetwork.com So let me ask you this, all animals go to the same rendering plant, it's all protein meat, all the same when processed. Do you really think they separate euthanized Dogs & cats from the horses then label them differently? I doubt it. Somebody needs to see if that DNA test is even real or if we are looking at an FDA cover up through payoffs because this happens all the time with the drug companies & imagine the cost to the Pet Food industry if they actually have to buy fresh human grade meat. Its worth a payoff to protect the industry

ANOTHER WORLD: Frankie Dies (Stalker Storyline) Pt. 2

ANOTHER WORLD: Frankie Dies (Stalker Storyline) Pt. 2 The firing of AW alumni Alice Barrett was a sad and devastating blow to the fans of "Another World" for it set in motion the decision to kill off the character that she had portrayed for seven years: the beloved Frankie Frame. Though brilliantly performed, the storyline is infamous for the controversy it sparked among the show's fans and the soap's executives as well as for the grisly violent way in which the character was murdered. The show never recovered from the loss of Frankie who, in many ways, represented the heart of the show. In Part 2, Frankie drives Josie to her wedding shower where she gives her a heart to heart about payoffs to a job being not as important as life's other big payoffs. This conversation leaves Josie ever so grateful and is an obvious plot device designed to have Frankie's death impact Josie later on. Next, at Josie's bridal shower, while everyone is being festive, Frankie feels a certain chill unlike she's ever felt before, letting her know something is wrong. The stalker who will eventually kill her is outside watching. Vicky, noticing Frankie's unease, gives to her her necklace "for luck". Unbeknownst to Vicky, she has just sealed Frankie's fate since this is the very thing that the stalker wants and he is willing to kill for it since it implicates him in the other murders. Vicky had been stalked without even realizing it and now the stalker has set his eyes on Frankie. Frankie's sixth ...

Contraband - Trailer

contrabandmovie.net Mark Wahlberg leads the cast of Contraband, a white-knuckle action-thriller about a man trying to stay out of a world he worked hard to leave behind and the family he'll do anything to protect. Set in New Orleans, the film explores the cutthroat underground world of international smuggling—full of desperate criminals and corrupt officials, high-stakes and big payoffs—where loyalty rarely exists and death is one wrong turn away. Chris Farraday (Wahlberg) long ago abandoned his life of crime, but after his brother-in-law, Andy (Caleb Landry Jones), botches a drug deal for his ruthless boss, Tim Briggs (Giovanni Ribisi), Chris is forced back into doing what he does best—running contraband—to settle Andy's debt. Chris is a legendary smuggler and quickly assembles a crew with the help of his best friend, Sebastian (Ben Foster), to head to Panama and return with millions in counterfeit bills. Things quickly fall apart and with only hours to reach the cash, Chris must use his rusty skills to successfully navigate a treacherous criminal network of brutal drug lords, cops and hit men before his wife, Kate (Kate Beckinsale), and sons become their target.
