Alright, so I'm going to be working with Chuck Brown, legendary Godfather of Go-go music. As you'll read on Wiki, Go-go is primarily known in and around the DC Metro area...that's where I first saw Chuck...on the Capitol Jazz Supercruise III this past October. His 2 hour non-stop show blew me away as the dance floor was poppin' all night long! During a Go-go show, the drummer never ever stops playing....they just segue from song to song with the drums continuing in between, thus keeping people on the dance floor! Its genius really. Anyway, since I'm going to be writing with Chuck, I thought I'd better get my Go-go chops up to speed so I decided to create a Go-go beat and here it is! Can you say, FUNKY??!!???!!!???
