www.permies.com Ernie Wisner shows off his double chamber cob oven which burns cleaner than a conventional cob oven. The second chamber is what gives the cleaner burn. And your cob oven ends up looking nicer too (not all black in the front). This cob oven uses some of the stuff from rocket mass heaters (or rocket stoves) for a cleaner burn. Ernie explains why this is not a "rocket cob oven". A part that I edited out is where Ernie talked about sitting outside around the fire in a way where people stay warm and enjoy a fire without getting smoke in your face. This video has pictures of other cob ovens and addresses some of the concerns about smoke and wasting of heat. Ernie explains how you start off with a two hour fire and end up with eight hours of cooking starting with pizza, then moving on to breads, roasts, soups, rice, beans and then yogurt and granola which cook at much lower temperatures. Ernies also talks about the quality of bread from a cob oven vs. the quality of bread from a conventional oven. Ernie addresses how he elected to not have a permanent roof over his cob oven. Seeing Where the Microwaves Are in a Microwave Oven
Microwaves are absorbed by wires creating current in the wires which can drive a neon lamp like this guy en.wikipedia.org I drilled a grid into a piece of plastic and slipped in the bulbs, leaving the wires to hang out like antennas. As the plate turns, the bulbs go into and out of places where the microwave energy is denser, illuminating the bulbs. No, it doesn't seem to hurt the microwave. You can find out more about how to make this by going to kossover.squarespace.com Edits: I do seem to suggest that microwaves are only absorbed* by things that conduct electricity. That's not true, of course. The changing electromagnetic field of the microwaves will oscillate anything that has a charge or is polar. I was trying to point out that microwaves can move electrons in wires. Even slightly salty water does seem to heat faster in my poorly controlled experiments, though. "Absorbed" isn't quite the correct term, I know. Oh, and kids, don't try this at home without your parent's permission. Many things do not like going into a microwave and will catch fire or spark or both. Your parents will be mad, and the fire department will be annoyed as well. How to Clean an Oven
•Remove all metal trays in oven, put them in sink and spray with Seventh Generation All Purpose Cleaner •Clean/sweep all of the crumbs or debris in the oven •Don't spray All Purpose Cleaner in oven, spray on cloth •Start cleaning from top, walls, bottom •With the wet towel, clean from the inside out •Directly spray All Purpose Cleaner on burned spots left in oven; leave it there for 3 minutes •While spots are soaking, continue to clean grease spots in oven (circular motion with really wet towel with All Purpose Cleaner) •Return to burn spots, take a metal spatula or a razor blade and move it one direction to the other lifting up the spot directly •Clean the inside of the glass door (you can directly spray All Purpose Cleaner on the door ) •If door continues to be dirty, you can use a razor or spatula when it's really wet •You can also scrub the door with a sponge if needed •Don't forget to clean corners of oven really well, use a spatula covered with microfiber •Clean exterior of oven with All Purpose Cleaner applied to microfiber, cleaning in a top to bottom motion •Return to the sink, wash the trays (All Purpose Cleaner should have removed 60% of food/dirt) wash with sponge or steel wool •Dry trays and return to oven •If you have a gas oven, make sure your cleaning efforts haven't blown out the pilot light

I fixed my iPhone wifi problem by following these steps: www.iphonetiquicia.com The oven trick fixed my iPhone by reflowing the solder joints in my motherboard. *BUT* I was very careful and I did thorough trouble shooting first. I also have experience breaking down iPhones. Other guys with the same experience have tried this and it didn't work for them.
