Review of my 18v One+ Drop Saw / Compound Mitre Saw Shows a few cuts, one on a serious bit of timber ! have to move a little slow, but for bits and pieces here and there, and portability this is a really great tool. folds down and using a split pin locks in place and allows you to carry it around with the carry handle. really happy with the unit, cost me $40 second hand. i believe they are about $180 new.

found the 2 stroke tiller at the side of the road at night. tank looked like it was full of transmission oil mixed with gas (thats not the right 2 stroke mix lol) flushed it out, put new 2 stroke in and bam, working tiller. this is a cold start.

This is my ryobi 4 cycle trimmer, i did a small demonstration of this trimmer as well as whats really going on with these things on why they run like crap, which is the carburetor problem just like any diaphram carb. this trimmer isn't like a troy-built, the cam on tryo builts are in the block, but this one features ohc or over head cam, so it uses a timing belt, so i will be periodically checking the belt cause if the belt breaks while running the valves may be done for good.

Demo and review of the Ryobi 18v One+ Chainsaw What a great little tool, Ive just spent all afternoon cutting down trees, shrubs, bushes, etc. in my backyard, was no trouble for it, it just kept on going. i was that impressed i thought i'd put a video up, so other people can see. When i turned it on initially straight out of the box, i thought it would be a bit of a joke. It doesnt spin really fast, but it has HEAPS of torque, and would cut through probably anything i throw at it. Definately worth buying 5 out of 5 ! And this was with the 1.4ah battery also, the smallest of the ryobi lithium batteries.

Brand new Ryobi 26 cc 4-stroke, only three tanks of fuel through it for break in. Does is have enough power for r/c use? I tried a different carb as the stock one is non adjustable and horribly lean. After finding my 7mm Walbro a little less than optimum from a swelled diaphram, I discovered the stock carb can be made to work rather well! By opening the fixed main jet from .012 to .0145,the engine will hold wide open throttle 6100 rpms with a 18X8 wood prop. Transition from idle to open throttle seems smooth enough as long as the throttle isn't snapped open. These engines may have potential. I haven't carved this one up yet as I have another one I"m working on for r/c use. This engine sits on my bench swinging a 22X10 prop as an outdoor fan in the hot summers. Cheap to run and the prop is noisier than the exhaust!

I demonstrate the Ryobi 18v combination cordless circular saw and drill kit. I have actually got a fair use out of the battery cutting 2 X 4s for many cuts before I had to swap the batteries. This saw is great for cutting electrical pipe or 2 X 4s. Many small short cuts. I would not grab this saw to cut paneling if i had the choice. Cordless tool kits are great for all types of construction and are employed in heavy construction everyday.

Just wanted to show prospective buyers of the $300 Ryobi log splitter from Home Depot what it can really do. Had no problem with this 25 inch diameter maple log. Also split Black Locust which is just about the hardest wood and it can do it.....no problem unless it's a crotch piece. It was the only one that wouldn't go out of about 100 logs. Just bought splitter last week. Love it.
